Web Developer (WordPress experience) & Jack of All Trades!

Job Description

We are looking for someone who has web development skills with wordpress to help us maintain our website and keep us innovating forward into the future.  This is a local ‘in office’ position and no commuting at this time.

What will you be doing?

  • We have a wordpress site and you’ll need to be 100% effective and comfortable working within wordpress and our theme.
  • We have a marketing director who you will be working closely with. The marketing director and our sales team will essentially be responsible for the vision of the website. Your job will be to execute their vision inside the website.
  • You’ll be doing continual website testing on all major browsers and mobile devices to ensure our website is compatible and running smoothly on all access points. As you can imagine, our website must be 100% customer centric and that means everything has to be working and in order. You will need to ensure the content, graphics, and navigation provide a positive user experience
  • You may not be a loan officer but you’ll be learning a lot about mortgage in this position. We want you to learn about what we do and who our customers are. This will help you make effective decisions in regards to our website development.

Okay, so what about being a Jack of all trades?

  • We’re a small company and we move fast on projects. We publish a weekly podcast on you tube, reformat them, clean them up, and then post them onto our website and several social media outlets. If you have a passion for video editing and things of that nature let us know, that could come in handy.

Mortgage Processor – Entry Level With OR Without Experience

Job Description

The Mortgage Brothers Team is looking to add someone to the team to help with processing loans.  You must be local and be able to work in our Phoenix, AZ office.

  • This person would have a high school diploma and could have college experience but it is not a requirement.
  • The candidate would be responsible to process loans from right after the loan application is completed to the day the loan closes.
  • They would be responsible for gathering/reviewing personal financial documents and bank statements, working with title and insurance companies requesting title and insurance fees, preparing documents for borrowers to sign via docusign, submitted loan packages to underwriters, reviewing conditions provided by underwriters and working with borrowers on submitting documentation and letters of explanation for particular aspects of the borrowers files needing to be explained, and finally making sure the loan receives final approval and the loan closes on time!
  • This person would have excellent communication skills, and likely be considered detailed, organized, thorough, love numbers, ability to multi-task, observant, always positive attitude, and find great satisfaction in closing files on time 😊.  The loan business is not a super complicated business it is just very detailed and process heavy!  If you know of anyone or know of anyone who may know someone that would fit this criteria then we’d love to hear from them!!

Loan Officer Assistant – Entry Level no experience

Job Description

The Loan Officer Assistant assists Loan Originators by providing them with daily support on loan files from contract to close. Assists in preparing preliminary loan packages for processing by obtaining missing documentation and other information from customers and understands how to structure a loan.

Responsibilities:

  • Make daily current client phone calls
  • Make daily past client phone calls
  • Primary contact between clients and Loan Originators. Responds to borrower’s general questions regarding policy and procedures.
  • Submit complete loan applications for each customer file
  • Run Automated Underwriting and submitting files to processing.
  • Review received documentation for discrepancies, omissions, asset and income verification
  • Work with Loan Originators to resolve any problems with files and documents.
  • Updates customers, real estate agents, and title companies on the loans progress
  • Comply with Company policy and procedures to ensure all files are complete.
  • Attend any and all branch/team meetings.
  • Comply with applicable state and federal compliance guidelines

JUNIOR LOAN OFFICER

Description

  • You will be following up on leads generated by my marketing and originating new loans from those sources.
  • You will not need your own book of business or your own lead sources. You will be working as my junior loan officer.
  • You will be doing all the functions of a Loan Officer; communicating with borrowers via phone and email, take their applications, pull their credit, run DU and LP approvals, lock in their rates, and give the file to our setup department to prepare the loan to be submitted to underwriting.
  • You are representing me and your work will reflect me, so it is crucial that you be a naturally courteous person, have an excellent work ethic, and communicate very well. My customers are looking for superior customer service. They have come to expect it from my team.

Requirements

  • Licensed in the State of Arizona and have all appropriate NMLS requirements complete for a Loan Originator.
  • You will need to have a minimum of 3 years of sales experience.
  • Must be able to maintain great composure while spending several hours a day speaking with customers and realtors on the phone.
  • Be a customer service oriented person. Being a loan officer can be very stressful, you will need to have the personality to overcome the challenges.
